Support for publishing in journals indexed in (Q1) and (Q2) in Scopus

Objectives:

• Motivate faculty members to excel in scientific research. 
• Direct university faculty members to publish in high-impact scientific journals.
• Contribute to increasing the number of reference citations for researchers affiliated with Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University.

Support amount:

A support amount of up to 25,000 riyals.

Duration of the project:

The time period available for preparing and publishing the research is only 9 months.

Terms and conditions:

1. The principal investigator must be a faculty member at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University.
2. The research proposal or part of it must not have been previously published or supported by any party outside or within the university.
3. The research must be published in one of the scientific journals indexed in Quartile 1 (Q1) and Quartile 2 (Q2)  in the Scopus database.
4. The research must not have been sent to the journal before the date of signing the project support contract.
5. The research team should acknowledge all research resulting from the project with this statement:
   “This project was funded by the Deanship of Scientific Research at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University award number..............”
6. The project will not be closed and the financial dues disbursed until the research and the expression of thanks to the university appear in the Scopus database.
7. Priority in support is given to a researcher who is not associated with (unfinished) research projects as a principal investigator.

Submission procedure: 

The research proposal is submitted by logging in to the scientific research system at the link
