INTRODUCTION:
The Deanship of Scientific Research recognizes the significance of publications in world renowned journals which are linked to either Web of Science or Scopus databases in order to attain best ranking of the university in the field of research. The Deanship motivates researchers to mark their research with scientific quality and accuracy of information to make their way on the pages of highly ranked journals. The Deanship also observes the difficulties faced by some researchers from the burden of correspondence with editors and the cost of publishing. Scientific Leadership Program is designed to help out and motivate researchers to opt for high-ranking journals for their publication.
LEADERSHIP IN RESEARCH:
This program aims to encourage researchers and help them overcome some of the technical challenges of publishing in prestigious journals. By providing part of the financial support to be used in the technical matters of assistance in publishing such as language editing, proofreading, or publishing fees.
Conditions to Receive the Support :
1) The corresponding author should be from “Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University.
2) The publication should be in the journals listed in Web of Science or Scopus (with exclusion of the fourth quartile of Scopus).
3) It will be applicable to publications sent after 01/05/2019.4) All faculty members and their equivalents are entitled to apply for this program.
4) The acknowledgement in the research should be addressed to Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University and appeared in Web of Science or Scopus.
Financial Support:An amount of five thousand (5000) SAR will be paid to cover all costs of publishing,proofreading and editing etc.
General Rules:
1) The researcher should apply for the support once the research is published andappeared in the Journal’s website.
2) Taking benefit from this program and other financial support programs of theDeanship cannot be combined.3) The published article should include “thanks” to the University.
