Introduction:
Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University has a wide range of humanitarian and educational specializations, and is surrounded by a large number of faculty members who are capable in research and science, in addition to a group of graduate students who have good scientific research capabilities. Whereas Arabic publishing is in direct contact with the national cultural system, and is issued by humanitarian and social specializations; Therefore, it was self-evident that it would receive the university’s care and sponsorship in its preparation and publication, as this fulfills part of the university’s vision and mission aimed at contributing to building a scientifically enlightened, research-wise national character while improving the research product and raising its level of usefulness. This program comes in the context of encouraging and strengthening Arab research and publishing, with the aim of achieving more advanced and influential research.
Objectives:
- Discretion and mastery in the research output published in Arabic. Contributing to strengthening the research movement published in Arabic within the Kingdom.
- Revealing the positive advantages of Arabic publishing, especially in the humanitarian and social fields.
- Identifying creative researchers, including professors and students, in the fields of Arabic publishing.
- Attracting research projects with creative and qualitative proposals.
- Raising the university’s contributions to the Arab publishing of human and social research.
Specializations targeted for Arabic publishing:
- Religious specializations
- Arabic language specializations
- Educational specializations
- Legal specializations
- Historical and social specializations
Support amount:
Up to 20,000 riyals.
Duration:
The time period available for preparing and publishing the research is twenty months.
Terms and Conditions:
- The principal investigator shall be a faculty member at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University.
- The research proposal or part of it must not have been previously published or supported by any party outside or within the university.
- The research must be published in one of the peer-reviewed journals in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- Priority is given in approving the proposed project if the research team includes a distinguished external researcher from within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, taking into account the precise specialization and research interest.
- The first principal investigator must be affiliated with Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University.
- The citation rate in research proposals should not exceed 25%.
- The program must be applied through (the scientific research system) on the university’s main portal.
